I’m running 2.0.2 on my iphone 3g and every time I update I’m hoping the slow SMS keyboard issue has been fixed and about 30 minutes later it rears it’s ugly head!

I was skimming over a tips thread on a random forum and one tip was to completely close an app hold the home key for 4-8 seconds and the app will close. I’m not sure how common knowledge this is but when I started to experiance the SMS keyboard slowdown I loaded safari and did the home key close and bingo no more slow keyboard!!!

Just done my first 1000 miles bring on the big 1337!!!!!!!!

Just watching the closing of the Olympic games and have came to the conclusion that Boris Johnson is an idiot……

Came across a plugin for safari that allows you to download files via the browser. Not too sure how long it’s been in cydia but I’m loving it! I don’t need to wget files anymore yayyyyyyy!

So I made it back from Las Vegas in one piece. Had an excelent time at the defcon conference watched some interesting presentations but managed to miss some of the wireless talks so hopefully they’ll be on YouTube!

On the partying side I went to a few of the defcon parties both in the sky boxes and the penthouse suits but tbh they were a bit crap and we ended up with 2 bins full of ice and budwiser….as you do! NetViligance booked a suite in the hotel which was promptly filled with ice and beers!!

The company took us on a helicopter ride into the grand canyon with some champaign it bloody rocked, I’ll upload some pictures soon )

I also left vegas up on my luck! Doubled my money! Put $5 into a machine at the bar and won $12.30 I called it quits at that point LOL
