Now I’m no marketing bod, Hardsell if your reading this some input!

In the whole supermarket wars of who’s cheaper tesco seem to have the wrong idea when it comes to advertising thier prices. There are loads of dispays showing how tesco are exactly the same price as asda etc should you not advertise how much cheaper you are!?!?

I’ve released my php script that can be used to stream a video to an iPhone that is running vlc4iphone. Basically the script lists all the files in a directory and creates thumbnails for each. The user can then browse to the page on the iPhone select a video and begin streaming or start a random stream. Once started point vlc towards the host ip and job done. A http vlc control interface is also running on 8080.

The script was intended for my own use and it’s still a bit rough around the edges and uses some wired code!

The page is designed to run on a unix box as a few bash scripts are called but the readme file details everything.

I’ve been doing quite a bit of motorway driving recently. We had to head to Manchester for a work conference thing meaning m6 bargh! To make matter worse a petrol tanker decided to go BOOM resulting in a 3 hour trip taking 6 hours with a 9 mile tailback!

The thing that annoys me most are boy racer lorry drivers! Let me explain, rear double axle lorries are restricted to 60MPH, what happens is lorry A is flying along at 58MPH and lorry B decides to overtake at a whoping 2MPH faster which cuts down the lanes ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

Havn’t updated the blog in agesssss I thought having the ability to blog from my phone would have made me post more!

Been up to quite a bit this month, had a holiday in Spain with Beckymo, Kerry and Rainey had an excellent time. The pictures are up on the gallery if you want to take a looky!

Also found my first geocache on Sunday I’m deffo going to be looking for more!!!
